Project Background
Our client had a prototype of an intelligent hub drive unit for use in robotic applications.
The Problem
The design had to be refined to make it suitable for injection moulding, supply of hardware (such as motors and PCBs) established and volume manufacture (including retail packaging) set up.
The Solution
The product was successfully launched on time and on budget. Follow-on projects included integration with the major toy brick manufacturer’s products as well as alternative drive systems.
